Directions

Newport-on-Tay runs westward from the end of the Tay Road Bridge along the south bank of the river Tay opposite Dundee.

From the Newport end of the road bridge, take the signposted road to Newport and Tayport, turn left to Newport under the bridge, on through the high street to a short one way system, at the other end of which begins West Road, the main road to Wormit.   Thorndene is the first house in West Road, look for a drive on the left with a large "3" on the gate pillar.

Maps developed from post codes or sat nav  are not always accurate and may lead you off West Road,   Don't let them.
